Hotels/Motels and ID's

Okay lets talk about ID's...these are an important thing to carry.  They are important while on vacation.


Most hotels and motels have rules about having ID's to get room keys to the room.  They have this rule for a few reasons.  First it is to cover the hotel/motel in case something is missing out of the room.  The next reason is for the safety of the other guests saying at the property.  And the last reason is for YOUR safety!!!  The hotel/motel does this so that say you go to the bar and get drunk off your ass and start telling the girl next to you your life story.  She knows your name, where you are staying, what your address at home is and so on.  If she is looking to rob you then she knows everything.  However just because she knows your information don't mean she is getting a key to your room!  The reason she is NOT getting a key?....because she don't have ID to prove she is you.  So having your ID on you is important.  And that bring me to my next point.......

Why the hell are you walking around in a town 1/2 drunk without ID????  First to get in the bar you need ID.  Next what happens if you are 1/2 drunk walking around and get hit....ID would help for the cops to know who you are!  And what if you do something dumb and get arrested???....You need your ID unless you plan to stay a few days in the jail until someone can prove who you are!!!  

So the lesson of this post........carry your ID.  And if you are dumb enough to leave it locked in your room and you don't have a key then don't come to the front desk flipping out because you can't get a key.  There is nothing that can be done for you.  Also don't send your dumb ass side kick in to try to get one that can't understand what is being said to them.  Don't get pissed off at the desk help because they are following the rules and you are the dumbest ass idiot for forgetting your ID!!!!!!!!
