End of the Summer

As the final weekend of summer comes upon us, it is time to reflect on the summer that is behind us and look forward to the fall and winter.  

As the summer comes to a close the reflection of it is as follows.  As the summers come and go, people are becoming more and more self centered.  More and more people are trying to get something for nothing...also known as trying to find something wrong that is not even wrong or just out and out lying so they can get something for free.  The sad part on that is people that have real complaints most of the time don't even say anything because of the ones that are sitting by the pool talking that...oh it rained all week and we did not enjoy the beach because of it so lets come up with a list of things to bitch about so we get money back!  When the people hear this that have real complaints they feel that if they say something it will be pushed back because of idiots that want something for nothing.  Also on the note of getting stuff for free...if you don't know what something is maybe you should ask.  What do I mean by this????  If you don't understand what a continental breakfast is then fucking ask!!!  You look more like an idiot when you come over and say oh your website said free breakfast where is it and you tell them right over there and then they start bitching because of no eggs, bacon, pancakes or what ever!!!!!!!  Continental breakfast is coffee, maybe juice, some kind of bread and a sweet roll.........not a full hot breakfast, if ya want a free hot breakfast maybe you should have either stayed at the Hilton or maybe you should go out and buy your hot breakfast!!!  Another problem each year is the unregistered guests and the co-guests.  When you are one of them...here is a clue for you KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT, LISTEN-DO NOT TALK and let the person that rented the room TALK and LISTEN!!!  You are the ones that run your mouth and end up getting the room put out and/or the cops called on you!  What other things people did not understand this year...when you are told to stop partying at 3 AM that means shut the hell up and go to bed!  I don't care if your fucking drunk off your ass, that this person rubbed your ass in the bar, that you went and hooked up with someone, who fucked who, what someone said about you, your friend, or family member, or any other thing....SHUT THE HELL UP AND GO TO BED!!!!!!!!!   Another thing that no one understood is that if you tell us when you check in that you only have 2 people in the room, that is all that should be in the room!  Don't call down with only 2 people registered and ask for 10 more pillows, blankets, towels and so on.  You are going to be told NO!!!!  When you check in...LISTEN and then you would not have to ask the dumb questions later in your stay and be made to feel dumb!!!!!!!!

What to look to for the fall and winter?!?!?  First it means less days until I get a few months off work!  But the fall and spring around a motel is when the regulars come.  I look forward to seeing them.  Where I work we have a bunch of regulars that makes you want to come to work.  You know them so well that you can carry on with them and they don't get offended and neither do you.  Most of these people I have laughed with, cried with, and even watched their kids grow from baby's/toddlers to teens to young adults.  This is the part of the year I look forward to the most...the spring and fall!
