Okay neither driving or walking takes a lot to do! However for some reason while people are on vacation it is like you need a PhD to do either. Just a few tips on both for tonight's Blog.
Driving
Don't just stop in the middle of the road...there are cars behind you.
Don't just pull out in front of people.
When making a turn it is done the same way as where you live...if you want to turn right, you should be in the right lane, if you want to turn left be in the left lane.
Turn singles are put on a car to let people know you are slowing down to turn...the right time to put it on is when you are at least 500 feet before your turn.....not when you are ready to turn and slam on your breaks.
There are speed limits for a reason....follow them!!!
If you don't know where you are going...pull the hell over and get a map or directions so that you can find out how to get where you need to be and not put others at risk over your idiotic self. Your not dumb or an idiot if you stop and ask where to go...you are a dumb idiot if you don't!!!!
Texting is something that can wait until you get where you are going. If you must answer that unimportant text then pull the hell over! My life is more important then your dumb ass text about how your boyfriend/girlfriend is screwing your best friend!!! The text is not important and they can be read when you are not driving!!!
Last time I checked 90% of the rules of the road is the same all over the USA!! So when you are some where other then your town, remember your towns rules and laws and follow them where you are going!!!!
Riding a bike is like driving a car....the rules for bikes are the same as a car!!! FOLLOW them, just because you are on a bike and not in a car don't mean you can pull out in front of a car! It hurts when you get hit by a car!!!
Parking while on vacation is not a obsolete thing either!!! Most motel/hotels give you one parking space per room. Just because you feel you need to bring 100 cars for one room don't think you are going to park them all on the lot. And just because you are on vacation don't mean that you can park anywhere you want! Also if you take it upon yourself to park where you should not park and you get towed it is not the hotels problem! You were the idiot that parked in a tow zone so go pay your money to the town/city and shut the hell up about it!!!
Walking
This is not new to anyone. Lets do it with our heads not with our ass's!!!
There are these magical things on the road crosswalks. Theses wonderful things are put there for a few reasons. First reason FOR YOU TO USE!!!! Second reason is so that you can get from one side of the street to the other without getting hurt!!!
When crossing the street you go with the traffic not when you think you should go!
Texting and walking is just like texting and driving....DON'T DO IT! Not thinking you could walk in front of a car and get hit...then you want to put it on the driver of the car because they hit your dumb ass self!!!
You don't jaywalk either. When you do this you put your self out there to get hit. And because you think you are right you end up suing the person that hit you because you are the idiot. The person that hit you don't owe you a damn thing because your an idiot...if anything you should be paying the person that hits you!!!
When walking at night use crosswalks and go with traffic. At night cars do not see you until there are right on top of you. Cars can't stop on a dime!!!
